I was at Anime Expo 2012 this weekend taking photos.

I encountered this Hatsune Miku cosplayer taking photos of the Sakamichi no Apollon group I had encountered two days earlier. She was walking around with a point and shoot camera and what caught my attention was that she was posing the cosplayers in an artistic fashion. For example, she was posing the Apollon group in a fashion similar to the opening credits of the series.

I asked to take some photos of the Apollon group when she finished her session, but I asked her to stick around because I also wanted photos of her and she kindly agreed.

After I finished with the Apollon group, I asked her to do some poses for me and she was a natural! Like a model! I was a bit upset with myself because it was right before I began taking photos of her that the batteries in my flash unit ran out (the first set had run out earlier and I knew I should have purchased more batteries earlier in the week).

When we finished, I asked her about her camera and she told me that she really wants to capture photos like all the other cosplay photographers.

We talked about cosplay and photography for a while. She was such a sweetheart!

In my opinion, she was the most gorgeous cosplayer I saw all weekend! She told me that she had come all the way from Florida for the con.

I think my heart left with her.
